Côte-Rôtie La Triote
La Triote är en elegant och härlig, fruktdriven Côte-Rôtie, ett ursprungstypiskt vin med kryddiga toner av björnbär, hallon, vitpeppar och örter.
La Triote kommer från ett vingårdsläge med samma namn, på Côte Blonde, allra högst upp på sluttningen ovanför Ampuis, med ca 25 år gamla stockar.

Utseende: Tät, djupt röd färg med rödlila kant.
Doft: Generös fruktig och kryddig doft med toner av björnbär, eneträ, vitpeppar och lite rökt kött.
Smak: God, fruktig och kryddig, drygt medelfyllig smak med lite strama tanniner, bra syra och toner av björnbär, eneträ, kryddor och en aning rökt kött.
Decanter - 94 p - "Showing some reduction still on the nose, but not problematically so at this stage. Medium-bodied, mouth-coating fruit is very fresh and well balanced. The tannins are more succulent than most in 2021, and along with the fine, zesty acidity and tempered alcohol, this is very promising, and should be excellent if the reduction is resolved during élevage. The score assumes it will be. From four lieux-dits and 25-year-old vines in the Côte Blonde, aged for 21 months in barrels of various sizes and ages."
James Suckling - 95 p - "Rich and fragrant with a wide spectrum of aromas, from summer flowers to licorice and black pepper. Rich, deep and structured, this great Cote-Rotie has what we look for in this famous appellation. Very long finish with stunning tannins, violets and stony minerality."

John Learmonth-Livingstone - 4/5 - "This is now called La Triote, from only that lieu-dit: dark red; the bouquet is pretty wide, clusters around blackberry, mixed berry fruits, is well centred, can open and flourish. The palate rolls with appealing freedom, offers a wave of dark berry fruits, and agreeable life in the tannins that line the second half well, and bring drive to the equation. It’s a well composed Rôtie, authentic, with some floral nudges, and pockets of rocky grounding. Drink 2027-2047."
