Le Créateur är en lite udda specialcuvée såtillvida att den är ett endruvsvin på 100 % cabernet sauvignon, något som är mycket ovanligt i Bordeaux. När årgången tillåter, så gör Jean-Michel detta vin av vingårdens allra äldsta stockar.
Elegans och finess är ledordet för Jean-Michel Garcion, och ingenstans är det tydligare än här.
Produktinformation
Utseende: Djupt rubinröd färg med röd kant.
Doft: Angenäm fruktig och mycket ursprungstypisk doft med toner av svarta vinbär, ceder och cigarrlåda.
Smak: Smaken är fruktig, drygt medelfyllig, elegant och relativt ungdomlig, med mjuka och fint integrerade tanniner, bra syra och toner av svarta vinbär, ceder, körsbär och lite cigarrlåda.
Andreas Larsson - 93 p - "Dense dark core with a garnet-to-ruby rim. Pure and mature nose offering bright dark cabernet notes of cassis, plum, sage, bay leaf, cedar, tobacco, and mild oak. The palate combines density and freshness, with layers of crunchy dark fruit, having softened a bit, dry spice, fine wood and tobacco notes with an underlying vivid freshness, still present albeit ripe tannin leading to a long and savoury finish."
James Suckling - "Delicately sweet and fragrant on the nose, this is quite a filigree wine for the Medoc in spite of the ripeness and solid tannins; these build on the finish to a serious climax. Drink or hold."
